FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Community initiatives for renewable energy supply need 'hand-holding', especially when trying to establish a market for 'new' fuels such as wood chip from farm woodlands and forest residues which do not have a proven supply infrastructure in place.
Also, there is still a lack of education and awareness of renewable energy and even perhaps a perception that renewables may be unreliable, although the environmental advantages are generally accepted. It is therefore necessary to provide adequate information in order for people to invest in development work and free or subsidised feasibility work is important.
Sundance provides comprehensive feasibility studies for all projects, however large or small, from individuals and small businesses wishing to set up their own facilities to integrated combined systems for commercial and community applications.
